Ask Yourself | Questions for Your Best Year Yet (w/ FREE WORKSHEET)

Happy new year, everyone! ♥ In the spirit of all things new and hopeful, I’d like to share an exercise I did to welcome the new year.

These are some self-discovery questions I asked myself to help me get a clearer picture of where I am, where I want to go and how, and whether I should go there in the first place. As we look forward to 2018 with much excitement and/or apprehension, I’d like to invite you to have a few minutes of introspection so you can plan the best year (and life!) possible.

There are already tons of websites out there that tell you how to be hip and beautiful, where to take envy-worthy Instagram photos and why you should travel there and buy that. In this world that tells you being a grown-up means having a certain salary grade, expensive things, a full passport and a love life, Growing Up MNL hopes to be a thoughtful reminder that being grown-up means knowing how to take care of yourself and others.

Break into those new journals, sit in a comfy chair with leftover media noche noms or take turns asking these questions with a loved one and join me in planning for a year of achievements and, more importantly, self-care and growth.

I recommend writing down your answers so you can keep track of your goals. I’ve made a PDF as well if you prefer printing that or staying digital. This is also a great conversation to have with your partner/s in life so you can keep each other accountable and motivated.

I look forward to reading your comments and insights!
